From March 16 to 18, 2024, a nationwide khashar will be held in the republic under the slogan "A well-maintained and prosperous mahalla is the decoration of the country".

Khashar is held to celebrate Navruz, the holy month of Ramadan, beautify mahallas, residential areas, avenues, shrines, cemeteries, and playgrounds, carry out landscaping activities within the framework of the national project "Yashil Makon", and improve a healthy lifestyle, a sanitary and hygienic culture of the population.

During the khashar period, more than 16 million fruit trees and ornamental plants will be planted on the territory of 9 thousand mahallas in all regions of the country, and work will be carried out to improve mahallas, shrines, avenues, and cemeteries.
